A training and peer support community for practitioners (Somatic Therapists, Nervous System Coaches, Bodyworkers, etc) working with the nervous system and the subtle body.

For most of human history, the healer (therapist) and the shaman were the same person. The one who worked through traumas also knew the energetic field. The clinical and the sacred were never separate.
Ayurveda's physicians read prana and the subtle body as fluently as they read pulse. Traditional Chinese Medicine mapped the flow of qi through meridians invisible to the anatomist's eye. Daoist practice cultivated the vital force as a clinical art. Every ancestral tradition understood that what moves through the body is as significant as the body itself.
Then came the sterilisation of healing. The energetic, the ancestral, the cosmological — the dimensions every healing culture once considered essential — were classified as superstition and left behind. The body became a machine. The practitioner lost their intuition and relied on textbooks, protocols, and watered down wisdom.
"Shamanistic concepts and procedures treat trauma by uniting lost soul and body in the presence of community."
— Peter A. Levine, Founder of Somatic Experiencing®The Ancestral Somatics Circle was founded to recover this lost intelligence — and to hand it back to the practitioners who sense there is more to the work than any single certification prepared them for.
Through courses, guest experts, and peer practice — advanced training for practitioners ready to work the full spectrum of the nervous system and the subtle body.
Work with the energetic centers of the body to release stagnation, restore flow, and deepen your client's capacity for embodied presence and clear perception.
Sense, set, and hold the energetic container — for yourself and in session. The foundational practice of sustainable somatic work that no certification program teaches.
Ancestral and relational cords that tether clients to old patterns. The compassionate art of energetic release — a dimension of healing invisible to talk therapy.
Reading, sensing, and working with the auric field as clinical data. What the body broadcasts before words arrive — and how to translate it with precision.
The central channel of the Vedic tradition as a map for intuitive development. When the channel is clear, perception becomes not a gift but a practice.
Guest experts bring living traditions — Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Daoist cultivation, and more — into direct conversation with the nervous system.

Sabrina works with the of the clinical and the sacred — holding body, mind, and soul in the same session, at the same time.
Her study of Doaism Chinese medicine taught her about flow and the energetic body. Ayurveda introduced her to the subtle layers of the human being: physical, energetic, emotional, mental, intuitive, spiritual. In parallel, she went deep into Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, hypnotherapy, and family constellation work. Over hundreds of hours with clients, a pattern became clear. Symptoms rarely fell out of the sky. They carried meaning. They were entangled with ancestral patterns, unprocessed grief, developmental wounding — pointing to what was unseen and what needed to be brought to consciousness for healing to occur.
This is why she works the whole human. Not because it is a philosophy, but because the body insists on it. Knowing where to enter, when, and in what order — across the physical, energetic, and ancestral field — is the orientation she brings to every session and to every practitioner she trains.
She practices fully online from Toronto, Canada, and hosts the Rooted in Power podcast on embodiment, intuition, and ancestral wisdom.
Working with Sabrina gave me language for what I had always sensed but could never name. She holds the clinical and the energetic in the same hand — and that changes everything for how I work with clients.Somatic Coach, PractitionerToronto, Canada
I had done years of talk therapy, years of yoga. Nothing touched what one session of this work reached. The body holds so much more than we are told it does. This work is proof of it.SarahSomatic Experiencing Student

Book the callDo I need a clinical background to join?
No. The circle welcomes healthcare practitioners, spiritual practitioners, coaches, healers, therapists, and sensitive souls who feel the call to this work — credential or none. The training is designed to meet you exactly where you are.
What is energetic boundary work?
Energetic boundary work is the practice of sensing, establishing, and maintaining the subtle boundary of the self — your own field and the container you hold in session. It is not metaphor. It is a trainable, practical skill, and it is the foundation of sustainable somatic practice. Most practitioners are never explicitly taught it. This circle does.
Is this affiliated with SE International?
No. Sabrina is a trained Somatic Experiencing® Therapist and the circle draws on SE principles, but the Ancestral Somatics Circle is an independent community, not affiliated with or accredited by SE International.
How is this different from other somatic communities?
Most somatic communities stop at the nervous system. This circle takes the nervous system as the starting point and goes further — into energetic anatomy, the ancestral field, and the subtle body traditions that modern somatic training has largely excised. The clinical backbone is here. And so is the rest of it.
How do I know if this is for me?
The discovery call exists for precisely this — a genuine conversation, not a sales call, to help you feel whether this work is aligned with where you are. You can book a free 20-minute call with Sabrina directly from the offerings section.
